CARIFTA 2008 WATER POLO NEWS

New....Game3 and Game4 ended in big wins for Curacao and Trinidad & Tobago in the 18&Under male category of the Competition.

New....Hon. Olivier 'Babsy' Grange, Minister of Information, Culture,  Youth and Sports for Jamaica, officially opened the games today. She charged the athletes to at all times compete in the spirit of fairness and friendly rivalry.....more

New....Curacao and Trinidad & Tobago began their bid for gold at the CARIFTA waterpolo competition with convincing wins in the first two games on Friday afternoon....Game1....Game2

Ten teams, including three from host country Jamaica, have confirmed participation in the CARIFTA Waterpolo competition. Visiting teams are coming from Bahamas, Curacao and Trinidad & Tobago.

JAMAICA IS PLEASED TO HOST THE 2008 CARIFTA WATER POLO COMPETITION MARCH 21-24 AT THE NATIONAL STADIUM POOL IN KINGSTON.
